Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 : From Paris to Bangkok

The Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 collection of SIRIVANNAVARI had its international debut at Paris Fashion Week in March, and finally made its exposed on the Bangkok runway. At the Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, this event unfolded where an airplane hangar was transformed into a runway to showcase over 40 runway looks for both men and women. “To celebrate the life achievements of modern women who fearlessly pursued their dreams and defied societal norms, we have decoded, reinterpreted, and illustrated the extraordinary stories of three pioneering iconic females in aviation history. These women broke barriers and blazed trails for generations to come,” said HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, SIRIVANNAVARI Founder & Creative Director, speaking about the development of the collection.

The legacies of these remarkable women serve as the glorious source of inspiration for SIRIVANNAVARI’s Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 collection. The collection draws from the iconic elongated silhouettes of the 1940s, the elements of the aviator’s fashion era, and features leather, technical fabrics, and a palette of daring yet sophisticated tones. The collection exemplifies the essence of SIRIVANNAVARI: a harmonious fusion of femininity with a masculine silhouette, intricate prints, artisanal techniques, Thai aesthetics, and impeccable craftsmanship. Delicate silk, intricate lace, and transparent embroidered chiffon are blended with heavy wool or leather to embrace contrasts. The predominant color palette revolves around black and white, punctuated by elegant touches of beige. One of the collection’s highlights is an exclusive print of the season, reminiscent of a patchwork or collage, featuring artworks specially created by the designer.

In parallel, as the counterpart designed to accompany the adventurous spirit of the modern man, the Men’s collection line features a series of garments that combine the essence of SIRIVANNAVARI style with the functionality of urban menswear and the elegance of tailoring. The precise and minimalist cuts, featuring a masculine color palette that includes sand, navy blue, and black, create aviator-inspired silhouettes that are elongated with a pair of suits or full-length frock coats layering over high-collar or scarf-collar shirts and tapered-to-flared pants for formal occasions. Meanwhile, casualness is achieved through the pairing of shearling jackets with jogger pants. The collage of Princess-Artworks adorns a refined print of technical fabric, which can be found on shirts, flight jacket, and even duffle. Army Combat boots and Loafers go together to combine practicality and an inspiring aesthetic, promising a daring adventurous look with a romantic touch.
