Empowering Women with Love event: HRH Princess Sirivannavari Launches Fashion Charity Drive for Breast Cancer Awareness
At the “Empowering Women with Love” event on August 10th, 2023, HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya proudly presided over a charitable project named the “Princess Collection.” Hosted at the Fashion Hall on the 1st floor of Siam Paragon, the event spanned from August 10th to 14th, 2023. Its primary goal was to raise both funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer, the No.1 cancer among Thai women. Esteemed actresses such as Ann Thongprasom, Taksaorn Paksukcharern, Viritipa Pakdeeprasong, and Diana Flipo graced the event, accompanied by other distinguished guests and campaign sponsors.
During this event, SIRIVANNAVARI collaborated with the internationally renowned lingerie brand, Wacoal, to unveil the Princess Collection: a line of intricately designed fashion lingerie. This campaign primarily supports the ‘Mobile Mammography for Breast Cancer Screening’ initiative spearheaded by the Kanchanabaramee Foundation. The ultimate goal is to facilitate the early detection of breast cancer among at-risk and underserved women throughout Thailand while bolstering the efforts of the National Cancer Institute’s treatments.
Moreover, the event highlighted the Princess Collection’s array of loungewear and accessories. Specifically crafted to aid the Kanchanabaramee Foundation, items included T-shirts, Polo-shirts, sweaters, coordinated sweatpants, caps, bucket hats, totes, and shopping bags.
The “Empowering Women with Love” event featured a diverse range of charitable and engaging activities. Attendees could learn about self-detecting breast cancer and gain insights from breast cancer medical experts about the latest treatment technologies. It also emphasized the importance of both physical and mental well-being for patients. Creative DIY sessions allowed attendees to make wishing cards and chemo caps for patients. They could also donate balancing bras and enjoy an array of onstage entertainment.
